Unique, handcrafted jewelry with a designer's approach
My jewelry is created through a unique, design-driven approach where traditional craft techniques meet contemporary conceptual thinking. My work is rooted in traditional textile methods—such as bobbin lace, macramé, weaving, and darning—which I make distinctive through custom-designed metal elements and experimental use of materials.
For me, making is an immersive, hands-on process. I enjoy working with silver wire, exotic woods, camel horn, bone, and other natural materials. I apply time-intensive craft techniques with a conscious designer's perspective, often placing the technique itself at the center of the work. In my most recent pieces, I explore the exciting boundary between silver wire and bobbin lace.
It is important to me that the contemporary jewelry I create remains wearable: personal objects that do not conceal but rather add layers to the wearer's identity.
Over the past years, my work has been presented in numerous national and international exhibitions, including the Kunsthalle Budapest (Műcsarnok), Design Terminal, the Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asiatic Arts, the Art Mill in Szentendre, as well as venues in Poland and Spain. My jewelry can be encountered in person at the FIKSZ design fairs.
