I pursued my studies at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in the Metal Design department under the mentorship of Vladimir Péter and András Bánfalvi, then obtained a second degree as a Design Manager. After starting a family, I began designing and creating unique and small-series jewelry under the brand name Annafejer.
I make my jewelry, created with traditional handcrafted textile techniques, unique with metal elements of my own design. For me, manual creation—such as bobbin lacemaking, macramé, or weaving—is a form of relaxation. Furthermore, I enjoy experimenting with various techniques and materials, such as ceramics or papier-mâché. Applying these labor-intensive handcrafted processes with a designer's mindset, I create unique pieces; in my works, the technique itself often becomes the focus, such as darning.
During my experimentation with materials, I discovered the exciting potential of silver wires in bobbin lacemaking; this is currently my newest creative direction.
It is an important aspect for me that my jewelry pieces are wearable items that add layers to the wearer's personality.
Over the past years, my jewelry has been presented at the Hall of Art (Műcsarnok), the Design Terminal, the FISE Gallery, the Tatabánya Contemporary Gallery, the Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asiatic Arts, in Legnica (Poland), at the Night of Jewelry Budapest and Design Week events, the Hungarian Heritage House, the Hybrid Artspace Gallery, the Art Mill in Szentendre, the Benedek Virág House, the BBB Kultpont Gallery, and the La Mercè Cultural Center in Girona. My works can be seen up close at the FIKSZ fairs.
